Function

A professional manual blast cabinet with transport trolley for roughening, cleaning, derusting, matting, deburring and polishing workpieces. This installation is suitable for all types of blasting media.

Operation

The pressure blast cabinet is equipped with a cyclone separator. The cyclone separates reusable blasting media from the generated dust.

The blasting media is supplied in a closed circuit and the quantity is adjustable.

By using the latest Straalmeester® pressure blast pot, type 2000, equipped with a pneumatically controlled grit metering valve, precise adjustment of the blasting media is ensured, as well as the possibility to blow off blasted workpieces using air only.

The trolley system enables easy loading and unloading of workpieces, improving efficiency for batch processing. The trolley can be moved in and out of the cabinet for easy access.

At the front of the blasting chamber there are two glove openings with insertion sleeves, as well as a large viewing window with safety glass and a replaceable mica protection screen.

The blasting process is started and stopped by means of a foot pedal, which pneumatically opens and closes the main air supply.

Both access doors are fitted with a safety device (pneumatic safety valve) that immediately stops the blasting process when a door is opened.

On the right front side there is a pressure regulator with pressure gauge for setting the working pressure. The regulator is equipped with a locking mechanism.

The lighting is housed in a dustproof light unit mounted on the cabinet and protected against blasting by a perspex screen. The unit contains 2 × 18 Watt fluorescent tubes.

A control panel is mounted on the cabinet for activating the lighting and the fan motor of the cartridge filter.

Dust extraction is carried out by a continuously cleaned cartridge filter that extracts and separates dust and contaminants from the blasting media.

The separated dust is collected in the dust hopper. The cleaned blasting media falls back into the media hopper for reuse.
